ABOUT:
Infinity
Arts Gallery began in 2000 as a collaboration between artist duo,
Justin & Mary Potts. Our focus is both functional and fine art
and we have always made it our goal to price our wares reasonably
so that they would be accessible to a larger audience.
Mary Preiser
Potts has a degree in photography but is mostly self-taught in every
other area of art. She says that her main passions are creative
design and the combining of color and shape. To this end, she likes
mixed media art involving thread and fabric, as well as paint. She
is a self-taught graphic designer and this website is her main graphic
outlet. She has written fiction and poetry (mostly for children)
as a hobby for most of her life. She is the mother of one whirlwind of a 9 year old boy and the wife of an incredible artist, mentioned
numerous times all over this site. Mary can also be found at:
myspace.com/infinityartsgallery
and she blogs about new designs and art at:
infinityarts.blogspot.com.
Justin Potts
is a self-taught artist who has been painting and drawing seriously
since his early teens. His favorite media are ink, gouache, watercolor
and acrylic. Justin is also a singer/songwriter and musician of
many talents who can often be found recording music in his home studio in Portland, Oregon. You can
view Justin's art here.
We are also
very concerned about environmental issues. We are always seeking
out ways to make our wares more eco-friendly by searching for sustainable
raw materials and by using recycled materials whenever possible.
We do our best to reuse and recycle all packaging and shipping materials
- therefore, the box you receive may not always be brand new. Did
you know that most postal annex stores will accept your packing
peanuts and then resell them? Or, that you can post your bubble
wrap, boxes and packing materials for free on craigslist.org and
businesses like us will be thrilled to come and pick them up? Please
help us do our part to recycle and reuse everything!

NEWS:
Happy Summer!
8/11/09 - Mary and Jonah will be hawking their newest wares (monster iron-ons, diy patches and reusable gift bags to name a few) at the brand new Village Art Show happening at 4144 SE 60th Ave, next to Coffee Lovers this Saturday, August 15. The Village is a local non-profit organization whose mission is to share arts & culture - yay!
11/07
- Infinity Arts Going Green Update! We've
made a significant step toward our goal of going green - yay! We've
found a replacement for our 1/4" mdf. It
is called Arreis and is a 100% recycled wood fiber,
formaldahyde-free sustainable design fiberboard (read
more). It has the same durability, lightweight smooth-finish,
but without the chemicals. I'm so excited, I can barely stand it.
We have also purchased a new pallette of milk paints from The
Old Fashioned Milk Paint Company in rich, beautiful colors.
Fun fact: milk paints are the most durable, long-lasting paints
available and they are so safe and biodegradable, you can pour them
out in your garden.

New? Check out our new Earth-Friendly
Wall Clocks! And, check out our Recycled
Art section for Justin's new collages - on recycled closet
doors!

as we find our way on our path of choice!
